Molly Farrar is a general assignment reporter for Boston.com, focusing on education, politics, crime, and more. Previously, she worked as a digital journalist for WHDH Channel 7 and as a freelance reporter in Cambridge, Newton, Brookline, and Belmont covering local politics. Her work has appeared in GBH News, The Boston Globe, The Intercept, and the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. For fun, Molly likes to read fantasy books, play the cello, and go on short jogs.
Education
Molly earned a Bachelors of Science in journalism and a Bachelors of Fine Arts in cello performance from Boston University. She also served as editor-in-chief of BU’s independent newspaper.
