Two “knuckleheads” — police’s word — allegedly illegally dumped trash on an MBTA right of way in Somerville, and they weren’t exactly able to make a quick getaway.
That’s because the U-Haul they used to dump the items, which appear to be multiple couches, got stuck in the process, transit police said. In addition, neither man, ages 49 and 45, had a driver’s license, according to police.
Police said they’re pursuing charges against the men and restitution for the cost of cleanup. The incident remains under investigation.
