A Boston woman with nine outstanding warrants was arrested last Tuesday for an armed robbery at a Dorchester CVS, according to city police.
Officers responded to the CVS at 468 Blue Hill Ave. after receiving a report around 1:30 p.m. that someone in the store had a knife.
Police say the suspect pulled a knife out on an employee before running out of the store with stolen ice cream.
Officers apprehended the suspect, who was allegedly in possession of eight boxes of ice cream, and later identified her as Omaila Medina, 41. The ice cream was returned to the store, police said.
Medina was charged with armed robbery in Dorchester District Court in this most recent incident.
