A waterpark in New Hampshire’s White Mountains is making a big splash this year.

Whale’s Tale Waterpark in Lincoln, N.H. ranked No. 10 on Tripadvisor’s list of best amusement & water parks in the U.S., part of the Needham-based travel site’s best travel experiences for 2025.

Here is what Tripadvisor wrote about the park:

Whale’s Tale Waterpark, a 17-acre park in Lincoln, New Hampshire, has been in operation for nearly four decades. Located in the heart of the White Mountains, it has thrilling rides and outstanding views in a clean, family-friendly environment. Enjoy the only wave pool in the White Mountains, a surf ride, lazy river, and water slides for all ages.

“As we like to say, we’re the better choice, but don’t just take it from us. We’ve been voted in the Top 1% worldwide by @tripadvisor!” wrote Whale’s Tale officials on the park’s Facebook page.

Thrill seekers who visit the park after 2 p.m. can snag tickets for $29, a savings of $23. On Tuesday, the park posted on its Facebook page that, due to the popularity of the discount, visitors can now get the after-2 p.m. passes online. Previously, visitors had to get the discounted tickets at the gate.

Regular admission to the park is $52 for ages 4 to 64; $22 for seniors age 65 and over; and $17 for kids age 1-3.

The No. 1 amusement & waterpark in the U.S. is Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, according to Tripadvisor.
